Eroni Mawi extends his contract
Saracens is pleased to confirm that Eroni Mawi has signed a new deal to stay at the club.
The 25-year-old Fijian has 18 caps for his country including the 2019 Rugby World Cup, and his ball-playing ability in open play has become a huge asset for the Men in Black.
Mawi, who now has 13 Saracens appearances to his name has been learning from the experienced heads in his position such as Mako Vunipola and Richard Barrington.
The prop will now be looking to become a regular in the match day squad, and he is thrilled to be staying in North London.
“Playing for Saracens is an honour and a privilege, but getting to re-sign is a dream come true and another opportunity for me to grow.”
Director of Rugby Mark McCall is excited to see the prop make further strides forward.
“Eroni has settled in at the club really well and has impressed everyone with his application and diligence. At 25 years old, we are confident that Eroni’s best days are in front of him and given his natural talent, it is exciting to see where he can take his game.”
